Executive Function Matters specializes in training and consulting in the area of executive function. Executive function refers to the frontal lobes of the brain where people process their planning, working memory, attention, problem solving, verbal reasoning, inhibition and mental flexibility.

JJS Design was selected to create a logo that visually describes the business' expertise. To achieve this, a geometrically organized burst was used to symbolize the focus one gains from executive function training. The burst's core is centered in the portion of the head where executive functioning occurs. This concept served as a supporting graphic to further emphasize the primary principals including concentration, organization and focus.
